A COMPETENT AND EFFECTIVE STAFF

Sogi has a staff of 200 agents whose qualification and performance come from the hiring and continous training policies adopted from the start by the company.
Staff training is a fundamental item fo the human resource development policy of the SOGAFRIC Group. This policy reflects the will for individua and collectivel progress in order to master the technological evolutions and to further develop the Group's expertise and reliability.

In order to make sure that its staff is made of people who are both fulfilled and competent, aware of the evolutions of new techniques and of customers' requirments, Sogi, like all the companies of the SOGAFRIC Groupe, has the Training Center named after the Group's founders' names as the "Boutonnet-Brenac Center." Created in 1998 to meet the professional excellence ambition needs, this center offers 4 training spaces: An interactive training room, a classroom, a computer room, and a technical training space.

In the 2000, 12,000 in-house training hours were delivered in this center, 50% of which addressed technical matters. Sogi's agents were thus able to follow various trainings on computer assisted drawing software, benefit from more than 200 training hours on various welding techniques, and follow 60 hours of drawing applied to boiler making.
All these training activities showcase Sogi and the SOGAFRIC Group's will to sustainably invest in the Gabonese economy and their trust in the country's future.
